We are a long-established family business supplying
tanks and drums for decades, so you can buy with
confidence. You may not have known us, but you do
now. Whatever you need we will help you by
providing a fast, efficient value-for-money service backed
up by products from excellent manufacturers, mostly UK
based.
In this way we maintain the lowest carbon
footprint in terms of transporting stock into our
depots. We are proud of our recycling
heritage too - we have been recycling tanks and drums
for decades. In 2009 we became Members of the
Federation of Small Businesses. We hold a Waste
Carriers Licence, which is registered with the
Environment Agency, a Goods Vehicle Operator's
Licence and an Environmental Permit Exemption.
- I have had my tank/water butt delivered but
where are my fittings?
Have a look inside and you will usually find
them tucked safely in there.
- How quickly can I have my tank?
Straight away usually - because many of our tanks are in
stock. We can do same day despatch on many
products - just ring before 11am. Otherwise
most items take 2 - 4 days for delivery. Bespoke
tanks will take longer.
- Can you supply sight gauges and connector
kits?
Yes we can. We stock many
fittings including sight gauges, valves adaptors, pipes,
hose, taps, pumps etc., Plus electronic low level,
overfill and bund alarms specially chosen for their
suitability for your tank. See some of our

- Can I pick the exact tank I want?
Yes, you can if it is a stock item. Call in
and choose the exact tank you want and
we can deliver it. Most people choose what
they want online and phone their order through.
- What guarantee do I have?
Our
new fuel tanks carry a full manufacturer's guarantee.
You may need to register your tank and conditions may
apply.
- How do I know it is a quality tank?
We have decades of knowledge about tanks.
These years of experience have made us very choosy about
the suppliers we work with. Oil tanks have
an OFTEC Certification or are manufactured by OFTEC
members - OFCERT LICENCE is an Oil Industry Technical

- I'm concerned about environmental issues
what options do I have?
We are with you on this. Go for a
recycled tank or drum where we have them available,
failing that most of our tanks and drums are made from
recyclable material. As a company we source from
local manufacturers wherever it is practicable, reducing
the impact on our environment and keeping our carbon
footprint in mind when making decisions.
- Can you fit my new oil tank in for me?
Locally, we can offer a complete changeover
service by an OFTEC Certified Engineer.
- What is a bunded tank and do I need one?
The best way of describing it is
a tank within a tank and you may need
one. There are important regulations regarding oil
storage, give us a ring and we can advise you. You
will find more information on our

- I don't want a plastic oil tank. Can I
have steel oil tank instead?
If that is what you want, that's what you can
have, as we can offer a range of steel tanks, single
skin and bunded. Some are stock and some are
made-to-order. The made-to-order are often the
best high capacity option for oil storage.
- Will I be able to have my tank delivered?
No problem. Delivery can be arranged to
most postcode areas - prices vary. Some of the
larger tanks can even be delivered for free to many
postcodes. Don't forget all oil tanks must be
installed in accordance with prevailing legislation and
OFTEC guidelines. The total base of all tanks must
be fully supported - if in doubt for oil storage, contact OFTEC, the
Environment Agency or ourselves.
- Can I place an order right away?
Yes, have your credit/debit card on standby and give
us a ring 8.15 to 5.00 weekdays and 9.00-11.00 on
Saturday - 01594 833308. If
it is fittings you want you can buy some directly from
our
ebay shop.
- Can I pay by credit card?
As it says above, give us a ring and we will
take your details and supply most items within 2 - 4
days, the smaller items next day. All our credit/debit card
transactions are governed by Lloyds Cardnet. We
accept VISA and Mastercard credit/debit cards etc.
- My old tank is leaking! Can you help?
You need help fast and we understand speed is
important. We can probably help, if you are local,
by recommending a specialist OFTEC Technician who can
do a changeover service for you.
- Are recycled tanks and drums ok to use?
They are great for many purposes, just tell us what you
want to use them for and we will confirm if they are
suitable. They will have signs of use and some may
have surface wear and tear. Stocks go fast.

- I urgently need an emergency tank for liquid
food storage. Have you anything suitable?
Yes, your best option is our new 1000 litre new IBC tanks.
They are
approved for liquid food storage.
- Do you supply anything else as well as tanks
and fittings?
Yes we do. Along with the standard Oil
Tanks we supply IBCs, Water Tanks, Fuel Stations, Steel
Tanks, Baffled Tanks, Bunded Tanks, Steel Drums, Plastic
Drums, Plastic Jerry Cans, Plastic Buckets and Bunds.
We have recycled tanks and drums too.
- What about your recycled tanks and water
butts. What's been in them?
Usually fruit juice and food-based products - we
carefully source our recycled drums and tanks, only
using reputable suppliers.
- Who have you supplied?
Our customers include county councils, country estates,
builders, cider makers, farmers, plumbers, heating
engineers, film units, exhibition centres environmental
and waste disposal companies etc as well as individual
home owners and domestic users.
- What are your opening hours?
For expert advice you can phone us from 8.15 am until
5.00 every weekday.
Our Milkwall depot is open for customers from 8.15 to
1.00 and 2.00 to 4.30, Monday to Friday. Saturdays
are 9.00am to 11.00am.
- Will you send me a Price Pack?
Certainly will. Just email your name and postal
address for us to send one out. Or we can email a
pack. Please say what products you are interested

- Will I be a happy customer?
